CHUM Food Shelf Lakeside – Faith Lutheran Church – Food Distribution Center

CHUM (Churches United in Ministry) is a nonprofit faith-based organization operating the Food Shelf Lakeside distribution center at Faith Lutheran Church in Duluth, Minnesota. Founded in 1973 by a coalition of churches and now supported by 43 member congregations, CHUM provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Duluth, with the Lakeside location established in 2012. The organization distributes approximately 7,000 five-day food packages annually to roughly 2,400 unique households, along with advocacy services connecting people to community resources for shelter, employment, and other essential support.
