Ely Area Food Shelf

The Ely Area Food Shelf is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located at 15 W Conan Street in Ely, Minnesota, dedicated to providing food assistance to residents of Ely and surrounding communities facing food insecurity. Operating on the third Wednesday and following Saturday of each month, the food shelf distributes emergency food sourced through donations and purchases from Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and local vendors. The organization offers in-person shopping, home delivery for homebound individuals, and maintains low overhead to maximize resources for purchasing nutritious food to support those with income below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
