Minnesota State Fair Foundation JV Bailey House
About
The J.V. Bailey House is a historic 1911 residence located at 1263 Cosgrove Street on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, operated by the Minnesota State Fair Foundation. Originally built to house fair board members and later serving as the greenhouse superintendent’s residence from 1916 to 2004, the house was restored in 2006 with support from the Bailey Nursery Foundation and the Gordon and Margaret Bailey Foundation, and named in honor of J.V. Bailey, founder of Bailey Family Nurseries and former horticulture superintendent of the State Fair. Today, the property serves as the Minnesota State Fair Foundation’s headquarters, featuring offices on the second floor and community meeting space, donor receptions, and public tours on the main floor.
