About

The Invisible Wounds Project is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization located in Forest Lake that provides trauma-informed mental health therapy, crisis intervention, peer support, and community resources to military, veterans, first responders, frontline medical staff, corrections officers, 911 dispatchers, and their families facing PTSD and mental health challenges. Founded by former law enforcement professional Russ Hanes, the Support Center features therapy rooms, a woodworking shop, an art room, and recreational spaces designed to promote healing, connection, and hope through both clinical care and creative wellness activities.
