McLeod Food Shelf

McLeod Food Shelf is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1983 to provide hunger relief assistance to residents of McLeod County, Minnesota. Located at 719 13th Street East in Glencoe, the food shelf operates a client choice supermarket-style shopping model and provides grocery distributions, fresh produce options, and household items to individuals and families in need. Over nearly four decades, McLeod Food Shelf has expanded its reach from 109 households in its first year to serving nearly 2,000 distinct households annually, with support from generous community donations and a mobile outreach program serving seven cities across the county.
