Kitchen and Rail is a craft dining restaurant founded by Victor Salamone and co-owned by Joe Newhouse that opened its second location in Golden Valley in February 2026, taking over the historic Mort’s Deli space in the Golden Valley Shopping Center. The restaurant serves global comfort food featuring family recipes, including signature dishes like the Famous Filet Mignon Sandwich and Nana’s Meatballs, alongside craft cocktails and a proprietary wine label called Victorio’s. The Golden Valley location introduced weekday lunch service for the first time for the brand and includes a private event space, while honoring the previous tenant’s legacy with “The MORT” sandwich on the menu.
