Community Cafe

Founded in 2001 as a grassroots volunteer effort, Community Café is a nonprofit that provides free, hot, nutritious meals to anyone in need across the greater Itasca County area. Operating from the Itasca County Family YMCA in Grand Rapids and King Elementary School in Deer River, the organization serves three-course meals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (4:30-6:00 p.m.) in Grand Rapids and Monday through Thursday in Deer River, welcoming all community members without questions asked.
