Kootasca Community Action Inc

Founded by local citizens in 1965, KOOTASCA Community Action Inc is a nonprofit organization serving Minnesota’s Itasca and Koochiching Counties, with offices in Grand Rapids and surrounding communities. The organization helps individuals, families, and communities address poverty through comprehensive crisis support, anti-poverty services, energy assistance, homebuyer education, and early childhood programs including Head Start and Early Head Start.
