Second Harvest Northland Food Shelf Program

Second Harvest Northland’s Grand Rapids Food Shelf Program is one of the region’s largest emergency food assistance providers, supporting an average of 2,800 people per month and distributing nearly 628,000 meals annually. Located at 2222 Cromwell Drive in Grand Rapids, MN, the nonprofit organization operates as a food bank serving a 15-county region spanning northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin, offering drive-through, personal shopping, and delivery options to income-eligible individuals and families in crisis. The organization is expanding its community impact through a recently purchased facility at 220 N.E. 3rd Avenue, designed to provide more accessible and dignified food access closer to the city center in response to feedback from the neighbors they serve.
