Hastings Family Service

Hastings Family Service is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1970 that serves the residents of Independent School District 200 by providing food assistance through its Market food shelf programs, Meals on Wheels, emergency financial assistance, transportation services through its Just Friends program, free clothing and household items via its Rivertown Treasures thrift store, and other supportive services. Located at 301 Second Street East in historic downtown Hastings, the organization engages the community to provide help and hope for neighbors facing basic needs challenges such as food, shelter, clothing, and transportation.
