La Crescent Food Shelf – Food Distribution Center

La Crescent Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, storing, and distributing food to those in need in Houston County, Minnesota. Founded in the early 1970s by a local couple, the food shelf has grown from a home-based operation to a Certified SuperShelf program that offers fresh produce, dairy, and protein to families and individuals without income requirements. Located at 436 South 6th Street in La Crescent, the organization partners with Channel One Regional Food Bank and The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse, operating with community donations and volunteer support to provide dignified access to nutritious food.
