United Community Action Partnership (UCAP)

United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) is a nonprofit organization serving southwest Minnesota with an office located at 120 North Sibley Avenue in Litchfield. The organization was formed through the merger of Heartland Community Action and Western Community Action, bringing together a mission to eliminate poverty by empowering individuals and strengthening communities across nine counties. UCAP provides comprehensive services including child care programs, energy assistance, weatherization, emergency shelter, Head Start programs, transportation services, financial counseling, home repairs, rental and mortgage assistance, and operates the Threads of Hope thrift store.
