Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf

The Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf (MAFS) provides nutritional assistance to individuals and families in need living in Mahtomedi and surrounding communities including Willernie, Pine Springs, and White Bear Lake. Founded in 1974 as an outreach ministry of St. Jude of the Lake Church, the food shelf operates from 700 Mahtomedi Ave and now functions as a community shopping market where clients can select their own food items including pantry staples, dairy, frozen meats, and toiletry items during Tuesday and Thursday appointments.
