Salvation Army Mankato – Food Distribution Center

The Salvation Army Mankato is a nonprofit organization located at 700 S. Riverfront Dr. that collects, stores, and distributes food to residents in need throughout the Mankato area. Its Free Noon Meal Program and Bread Distribution serves nearly 30,000 meals annually year-round, seven days a week from noon to 1 p.m., providing many with their only meal of the day, along with free fresh bread and baked goods. Beyond food assistance, the organization offers emergency financial support, seasonal shelter, permanent supportive housing, disaster services, and community programs including children’s summer meal locations, a men’s shelter, and a winter apparel distribution program.
