Community Emergency Assistance Programs (CEAP) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1970 that mobilizes resources to nourish neighbors and create a healthier, stronger community in Minneapolis and surrounding areas. The organization operates multiple programs including a food market providing fresh produce and groceries, Meals on Wheels for homebound elderly and disabled individuals, health and wellness services, senior programs, a thrift store, and children’s programs offering items like baby care packages. Located at the Northwest Family Service Center, CEAP serves residents across Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, and various Minneapolis neighborhoods by distributing emergency food and assistance to individuals and families in need.
