Food in the Hood – Beacon of Hope Church – Food Distribution Center

Good in the ‘Hood’s Food in the Hood program operates a food distribution center at Beacon of Hope Church in North Minneapolis, serving approximately 2,500 individuals monthly through a client-choice food pantry and hot meal program. The nonprofit, partnered with Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, provides high-quality groceries, nutritious meals, and health support to families experiencing food insecurity, operating distribution events on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 5:00-7:00 pm. The organization welcomes community members with no appointment necessary and relies on volunteers to support their mission of delivering dignity and compassionate service to those facing hunger.
