Groveland Emergency Food Shelf

Groveland Emergency Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization providing emergency groceries to those in need in the Stevens Square neighborhood of Minneapolis since the mid-1970s. Located at 1900 Nicollet Ave, the organization operates a low-barrier, client-choice model where guests can select the food they need with no appointments or proof of income required, serving approximately 5,000 clients per month and distributing over 150,000 pounds of food. Beyond its primary mission, Groveland collaborates with Minneapolis College to support their student food pantry and partners with community organizations including Liberty Community Church and local downtown churches to address food insecurity across Minneapolis.
