The High Rise Mobile Food Shelf, operated by East Side Neighborhood Services, brings fresh food directly to 52 low-income apartment buildings across Hennepin County, ensuring residents without transportation have access to nutritional support. Serving over 3,800 participants—primarily older adults and people with disabilities—the program provides a client-choice shopping model with fresh produce, meats, dairy, and shelf-stable foods, with over 40% of deliveries consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables.
