Metro Meals On Wheels

Metro Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota that serves as the association of nearly 30 Meals on Wheels programs throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Founded in 1997, the organization provides fresh, nutritious meals delivered directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities, with caring volunteers also offering daily social connection to help recipients remain living independently. In 2025, Metro Meals on Wheels programs delivered more than 1.5 million meals to over 8,800 individuals across the region, and the organization has earned a 4-star rating on Charity Navigator for its financial accountability and impact.
