Minnehaha United Methodist Church Food Shelf – Food Distribution Center

Minnehaha Food Shelf, founded more than 20 years ago, is a coalition of seven south Minneapolis churches led by Minnehaha United Methodist Church located at 3701 East 50th Street. Operating every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the nonprofit food distribution center provides non-perishable food items and personal care products free to low-income residents of south Minneapolis. The organization served over 42,000 individuals in 2023 and continues to expand its community impact through its main food shelf operation and its monthly MinneHarvest program, welcoming all people regardless of religious affiliation.
