NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center Food Shelf

Founded in 1968, NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is a nonprofit, BIPOC-led anchor institution that operates a free, choice-based community food shelf in North Minneapolis at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North. The food shelf serves Hennepin County residents with a weekly shopping model that includes groceries, household essentials, personal care items, and supplemental nutritional support for families facing food insecurity. As part of an integrated health and human services organization, the food shelf functions as an extension of NorthPoint’s medical, dental, and behavioral health services, reflecting the center’s commitment to addressing food insecurity as a component of community health and wellness.
