Shiloh Cares Food Shelf (SCFS) Northside Community Safety Resource Center

Shiloh Cares Food Shelf – Northside Community Safety Resource Center, located at 1201 West Broadway in Minneapolis, is a nonprofit food shelf operated by Change Starts With Community that serves residents of Minneapolis and Hennepin County. Beyond providing emergency food assistance, the organization uniquely integrates youth employment programs, mental health resources, violence prevention services, and trauma recovery support to address food insecurity while empowering the community. Opened following a $2 million renovation in 2024, the center employs local youth at $18 per hour and combines food distribution with wraparound social services to build safer, healthier communities in North Minneapolis.
