Backpack Food Program

Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP), known as the BackPack Food Program, is a North Mankato-based nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing youth hunger across Blue Earth County and surrounding areas. The organization provides well-balanced, child-friendly meals and snacks to over 900 elementary students during weekends and school breaks, with expanded programs including Power Packs for middle school students and meal options for high school students. Located at 2120 West Howard Drive, Suite J, FOCP serves 33 schools across multiple districts and engages the community through volunteer opportunities and food distribution initiatives to ensure that hunger does not become a barrier to student success.
