Veterans of Foreign Wars

Owatonna Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3723, located at 135 Oakdale Street in Owatonna, Minnesota, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care and assistance to veterans, currently serving service members, and their families. Founded nationally in 1899 and operating as Post 3723 locally with over 470 members, the organization hosts community events including Voice of Democracy essay contests, teacher and first responder recognition awards, and holiday dinners that serve approximately 1,000 people annually. The post also operates a canteen and back hall available for event rentals, and actively engages in veteran advocacy and community service programs.
