Lakes Area Food Shelf

Lakes Area Food Shelf, located at 29316 Patriot Avenue in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, was established in 1980 by Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa and became Lakes Area Food Shelf in 1991. The nonprofit organization provides food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the Brainerd Lakes area, including Pequot Lakes, Nisswa, Lake Shore, Breezy Point, Ideal Township, and Jenkins, and operates as a choice food shelf where clients select their own groceries and household items from available inventory.
