Community Food Response

Community Food Response is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization based in Rochester, Minnesota, dedicated to rescuing excess prepared food from restaurants, grocery stores, cafeterias, and other businesses and distributing it free to families and individuals in need. Operating since 1993 from its location at The Salvation Army Campus downtown (120 1st St. NE), CFR offers ready-to-eat meals Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., with no registration required and no one turned away, while also reducing food waste in the community.
