Friends in Need Food Shelf

Friends in Need Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992 that provides food assistance and emergency financial aid to residents of Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park, Newport, and Grey Cloud Island in Minnesota. Located at 535 4th Street in St. Paul Park, the organization offers fresh produce, dairy, meat, toiletries, and non-perishable items through curbside and in-store pickup appointments, while also operating special programs including emergency assistance for unexpected expenses, school supply giveaways in August, and Thanksgiving food drives. The organization is supported by over 170 volunteers and receives backing from community partners like St. Paul Park Refinery and the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train.
