Catholic Charities Higher Ground Saint Paul

Catholic Charities Higher Ground Saint Paul is a five-story facility located at 435 Dorothy Day Place in downtown Saint Paul that provides emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. Part of the larger Dorothy Day Place campus, the nonprofit facility serves over 470 people nightly with emergency shelter for single adults, permanent housing options for long-term homeless individuals and veterans, medical respite beds, and specialized housing for women with chronic barriers to housing. The facility also connects guests with supportive services including hot meals, medical and mental health care, employment counseling, and other resources to help individuals transition out of homelessness.
