Joseph’s Coat

Joseph’s Coat is a nonprofit free store and community support organization located at 1107 7th Street West in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1989 in response to the need for no-cost clothing and household items, the organization serves individuals and families facing hardship by providing new and gently used clothing, household goods, hygiene products, and books at no cost in an environment of dignity and respect. Open by appointment on Mondays and Wednesdays for shopping and Tuesdays and Thursdays for donations, Joseph’s Coat welcomes all community members regardless of age, ethnic background, or circumstances, including those experiencing homelessness, unemployment, recent incarceration, and other challenges.
