About

Listening House of St. Paul is a trauma-informed daytime drop-in center located at 421 E 7th Street in Saint Paul that provides hospitality, practical assistance, and guidance to men and women experiencing homelessness, loneliness, and deep poverty. Founded in December 1983, the nonprofit offers essential services including hot meals, clothing, hygiene facilities, mail access, and case management, and has been recognized as the only drop-in center requiring no registration or identification before receiving services. In November 2023, after 40 years of operations, Listening House moved into its own building in Lowertown St. Paul following a $6 million fundraising effort with support from the state, city, and community donors.
