About

The Midway Food & Empowerment Project is a resident-led initiative established in May 2020 to address food insecurity in Saint Paul. Located at the Hancock Recreation Center, the organization provides near-weekly food distributions including fresh produce, pantry staples, household items, personal care items, and baby supplies to hungry, food-insecure Saint Paul residents, with at least half of its clients being immigrant families who speak languages including Hmong, Karen, Somali, Spanish, and Mandarin.
