About
Founded in 1897 by the women of Mount Zion Temple, Neighborhood House is a nonprofit organization serving immigrants, refugees, and low-income families in Saint Paul’s West Side community. The organization provides wraparound services including assistance with basic needs such as food and housing, education programs, youth services, and family coaching—all offered free to participants. With headquarters at 179 Robie Street East on St. Paul’s West Side, Neighborhood House has supported families from over 50 cultural and ethnic backgrounds for more than 128 years, serving as a multilingual and multicultural resource for those experiencing transition or crisis.
