Two Harbors Area Food Shelf

The Two Harbors Area Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has served rural Lake County since 1982, with a mission to reduce hunger and improve the health of people in need by providing food and resources at no cost. Located at 2124 10th Street in Two Harbors, the food shelf serves low-income individuals and families with approximately 90-100 pounds of food per distribution, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, and household items, with regular Tuesday distributions (10:00 AM – 3:45 PM) and an in-person shopping option on the second Thursday of each month. In 2014, THAFS partnered with community organizations to launch “Health in a Bag,” a home delivery program for low-income seniors in the Two Harbors area, demonstrating their commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
