Quad City Food Shelf Thrift Store

Quad City Food Shelf and Thrift Store has been serving food-insecure households in the Eveleth, Gilbert, Mount Iron, Virginia, and surrounding rural areas for over 40 years. Operating as a nonprofit under the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency, the organization provides emergency and short-term food assistance to income-eligible households through its food shelf and operates an accompanying thrift store offering clothing, household items, and appliances. In 2024, the food shelf distributed over one million pounds of food to nearly 10,000 households, with staff and volunteers working to ensure access to nutritious groceries for the community.
