Semcac Senior Dining

Semcac Senior Dining is a community action partnership program that provides nutritious congregate meals and takeout dining services to seniors aged 60 and older and their spouses across 11 southeastern Minnesota counties, including Rice County. Funded through federal and state contracts with the Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency on Aging, supplemented by local contributions from counties, cities, United Way agencies, and individual donations, the program serves its mission of meeting the nutritional needs of the aging population. No one is denied a meal based on inability to pay, with diners given the opportunity to donate and various payment methods accepted.
