Wanamingo Lutheran Church

Wanamingo Lutheran Church is an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation located at 130 3rd St W in Wanamingo, Minnesota. Founded by Norwegian settlers in the 1860s, the church relocated to its current location in 1904 when the Milwaukee Railroad came to town, and a brick addition was added in 1969 to expand gathering and office space. The congregation is known for its commitment to faith, shared Norwegian heritage, generosity, and music, while actively serving its local community through children’s programs and service projects.
