White Bear Area Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization serving White Bear Lake and surrounding areas, providing free groceries and food support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Operating two locations—a Curbside Pick-Up market at 1884 Whitaker Street and the Community Market at 2446 County Road F—the organization serves over 3,600 households monthly with fresh produce, frozen meat, dairy, and staple goods, powered by a dedicated volunteer base. A Certified SuperShelf known for its welcoming environment, White Bear Area Food Shelf also connects families to partner organizations for additional services including rental assistance and mental health support.
