Circle of Friends Thrift Store

Circle of Friends Thrift Store is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underserved communities with access to household and lifestyle items at low cost or free of charge. Founded over 10 years ago by two single mothers in Winthrop, South Central Minnesota, the store works to find homes for donated items while keeping goods out of landfills and into the hands of those in need. Located at 802 6th Street West in Winthrop, the store originated from its founders’ commitment to community support, including helping disadvantaged Girl Scout troop members participate in activities.
