SWMOA-BOLIVAR SENIOR Center Food Distribution Center is located at 1850 W. Broadway in Bolivar, Missouri, and operates as part of the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging (SWMOA), a nonprofit Area Agency on Aging serving 17 southwest Missouri counties. The center operates the Polk County Senior Center and provides food distribution services to seniors in the community, partnering with organizations like Ozarks Food Harvest to deliver nutritious USDA commodity foods and senior food boxes to low-income seniors ages 60 and older. SWMOA has been serving thousands of seniors in southwest Missouri since 1973 through multiple senior centers, congregate meals programs, nutrition services, and community-based support programs designed to promote health, independence, and social connection among older adults.
