California Nutrition Center – Food Distribution Center

California Nutrition Center Inc is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located at 107 W. Versailles Ave. in California, Missouri, dedicated to promoting nutrition education and providing food assistance to the community. The center serves noon-time meals Monday through Friday and offers nutrition counseling, nutrition workshops, and community health fairs while distributing fresh produce, whole grains, lean proteins, and other healthy foods to individuals and families in need. Founded in 1981 when meals began being transported from the Tipton center to serve senior citizens, the organization moved to its current location in 1993 and has been serving the California community for over 25 years.
