Lake Area Helping Hands

Lake Area Helping Hands is a nonprofit transitional housing shelter in Camdenton, Missouri, located at 68 Holden Drive, serving homeless men, women, children, and families in Camden County and surrounding areas. The organization provides temporary emergency shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services including meals, counseling, transportation assistance, and referrals to help residents achieve employment and financial stability. Operating with the philosophy of providing “a hand up, not a handout,” Lake Area Helping Hands can accommodate up to 23 residents in separate facilities and is sustained through grants and individual donations.
