Red Star Food Pantry

Red Star Food Pantry is a Christ-centered nonprofit food pantry serving the Cape Girardeau region since the 1993 floods, offering free emergency food assistance and a clothing closet to residents in need. Operating through federally funded, income-based programs as well as privately funded emergency services, the pantry provides USDA distributions multiple times per week and maintains community partnerships to support local recovery services and charitable initiatives. The organization also extends assistance to neighboring communities through clothing donations to recovery houses and shelters throughout the region.
