About
Carthage Crisis Center is a nonprofit organization based in Carthage, Missouri, dedicated to providing transitional housing and support services to homeless and needy individuals, families, and children. Founded in 1996 by churches working together to address homelessness in southwest Missouri, the center operates with a faith-based approach, offering emergency and long-term housing, meals, clothing, job readiness training, and spiritual growth opportunities to help residents achieve self-sufficiency. Located at 100 South Main Street, Carthage Crisis Center serves the community through partnerships with local organizations and provides daily meals, shelter capacity for approximately 45 individuals, and comprehensive support programs focused on restoration and lasting change.
