Carthage Humane Society

Carthage Humane Society is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter serving the Carthage, Missouri area for over 75 years. Located at 13860 Dog Kennel Lane just south of Carthage off the Cedar Road exit on I-49, the organization provides a safe haven for lost and abandoned dogs and cats while working to find them loving forever homes. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the shelter ensures all animals are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption and maintains a commitment to animal welfare through rescue, shelter care, healing, and community advocacy.
