Peace Nook

The Peace Nook is a nonprofit store and community resource center operated by Mid-Missouri Peaceworks, located at 804-C East Broadway in downtown Columbia. Founded in 1990, the store specializes in curated books, Fair Trade imports, natural foods and body products, jewelry, and gifts—with all proceeds supporting the nonprofit’s educational efforts toward peace, social justice, and sustainability. The Peace Nook operates primarily with volunteer staff and serves as an activism hub, offering meeting space for classes and providing information and referrals on social change organizations and issues.
