The Kaufman Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Creve Coeur, MO that has been serving veterans and military families since 1990, when it was founded by veteran Wayne Kaufman in honor of his brother Ralph. The organization provides comprehensive support to veterans, including food assistance, dental and legal referrals, mental health support, chiropractic care, and equine and dog-assisted therapy for those with PTSD, along with community programs like Trees for Veterans and Food for Vets. Over three decades, The Kaufman Fund has distributed more than $2 million to local veterans, earning recognition as a 4-star charity and winning the 2026 Heart of the Community Award from the City of Creve Coeur.
