Good Samaritan Center – Food Distribution Center

Good Samaritan Center is a nonprofit organization located at 108 South Thompson Avenue in Excelsior Springs, MO, dedicated to preventing hunger and homelessness by providing emergency assistance to residents of Ray and Clay counties. The food pantry, the heart of their emergency assistance program, distributes quality food items including fresh produce, dairy, and protein to households experiencing food insecurity, and operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Beyond food distribution, the center also provides financial assistance for rent and utilities, vouchers for gasoline and clothing, an after-school Kids Club program, transitional housing services, and collaborates with area agencies to connect clients with mental health care and job readiness training.
