Community Services League

Community Services League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1916, headquartered at 404 N Noland Road in Independence, Missouri. The organization assists Jackson County residents by providing emergency relief, housing counseling, workforce development, food assistance, and homeless services, with a mission to empower families to move from poverty to self-sufficiency. As the largest provider of social services in Eastern Jackson County, CSL serves nearly 20,000 individuals annually with integrated programs that help stabilize families and connect them to resources for long-term economic stability.
