Community Services League

Community Services League of Jackson County is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1916 and located at 404 North Noland Road in Independence, Missouri. The organization empowers families to move from poverty to self-sufficiency by providing emergency assistance, housing support, workforce development, and basic needs services to Jackson County residents. With approximately 100 employees and multiple locations throughout the region, Community Services League serves nearly 20,000 individuals annually through integrated social services rooted in a legacy of community care.
