Saint Michael’s Necessity Pantry

Saint Michael’s Necessity Pantry, operated by St. Michael’s Episcopal Church at 4000 Lee’s Summit Road in Independence, Missouri, provides personal hygiene and cleaning products not covered by SNAP assistance, including items such as shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry detergent, and incontinence products. The ministry, which has operated for more than a decade, serves approximately 1,000 people monthly on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM as a cooperative effort supported by multiple Episcopal churches and community partners including Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Giving the Basics.
